MATiAS

Founded in 2004, MATiAS approaches clothing through what designer Matias Sandoval calls architectural garment making. Workwear and traditional clothing provide a starting point, with an emphasis on unusual pattern cutting, construction, proportion, and fabrics that develop character through wear.

The entire process takes place in the MATiAS Southern California studio, from patternmaking and cutting to sewing, dyeing, and finishing.
